Dr. Kelly Sulik is a MCL graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a native of North Carolina, where she grew up in Chapel Hill. She currently owns and operates Animobile Veterinary Clinic in Tryon, North Carolina.

As a kid, Dr. Sulik spent most of her time outside of school on the back of a horse. She spent many of her summers in Minnesota on her grandparents’ horse farm, where her grandfather bred and raised golden American Saddlebreds, and where her aunt has a mixed animal veterinary practice.

It may be in her blood or it may be from early experience following her aunt around the vet clinic, but either way, Dr. Sulik knew it was her calling to become a vet.

While Dr. Sulik enjoys nearly all aspects of veterinary practice, her special interests include emergency medicine and ultrasonography. She has attended the renowned Sound Academy for Veterinary Imaging, where she completed several courses in abdominal ultrasonography and echocardiography.

When she is not working, Dr. Sulik can usually be found in her barn or riding one of her four horses. She is currently retraining an OTTB (Off-Track Thoroughbred) for the 2020 Retired Racehorse Project Thoroughbred Makeover, where they plan to compete in dressage. She also enjoys spending time with her dogs of various breeds, most of whom she has rescued and rehabilitated.
